GRACE & GRATITUDE COUNSELING, PLLC IS PLEASED TO OFFER:

Small Group Intensive Weekend for Women

Downers Grove, IL • June 26–28 • Only 7 spots
Start with a free consultation to explore readiness and fit.

You’re high-functioning… and exhausted.
You deserve a deeply supportive, in-person weekend for women ready to shift shame, soften your inner critic, and feel less alone.

A Different Kind of Healing Experience

This weekend intensive provides an opportunity to go deeper than traditional therapy sessions. In a small, carefully curated group of just seven women, participants will explore their internal systems, build compassion for protective parts, and begin healing wounds rooted in trauma and shame.

Through guided exercises, reflective discussion, and experiential practices, the weekend creates a powerful space for insight, connection, and meaningful change.

This work is grounded in trauma-informed practices and Internal Family Systems (IFS) + Eye-Movement Desensitizaton and Reprocession (EMDR) approaches.

This weekend may be a great fit if you:

  • look “fine” on the outside but feel on edge, shut down, or self-critical inside

  • have done some therapy and you’re ready for deeper momentum

  • want real support and structure

  • can stay within your window of tolerance with support (we’ll help with pacing)

  • are open to gentle, creative work that helps things stick in a different way

Not sure if you’re ready? That’s exactly what the free consult is for.

Start with a Free Consultation

Because this is tender work (and only 7 spots), we’ll begin with a short, supportive consult to hear what you’re hoping for, talk through readiness + pacing supports, and make sure the group will feel safe and helpful for you.

What changes after the weekend?

After the weekend, we want you to leave with:

  • a quieter, less brutal inner critic (or at least a new relationship with it)

  • a clearer map of triggers (so you can respond, not spiral out)

  • more capacity to stay present in hard conversations

  • a felt sense of “I’m not alone, too much, or broken”

Will I have to share details of my trauma?

You will never be pressured to tell your story or share details you don’t want to share. This weekend is paced and structured. You can participate by listening, reflecting, creating, and sharing at the level that feels safe for your system.

Why a small group?

Complex trauma often happens in relationship—so healing often does too. In a carefully facilitated group, you get to practice being seen, supported, and understood in real time…without having to perform, explain everything perfectly, or do it alone.
